This term in Wrens
Wren class have had a busy start to the spring term and our lovely new topic, 'Africa is not a Country'. The children were quick to immerse themselves in some African singing and Dancing with the help of Gaspard Sweetie from the Ivory Coast.
We have also started to explore some of the animals that can be found in Africa, our class Vets has been very busy treating a whole host of animals.
The children have spent time carefully exploring the story Handa's Surprise and this has been a stimulus for our writing during the first part of the Spring Term.
In math the children have been continuing to look at number patterns, part - part - whole method and addition number sentences. We will soon be exploring subtraction.
