Admissions
We are a friendly village school with a real family feel. We always encourage parents to visit us to observe the school in action as well as talk to Mrs Thom, Head of School and our friendly staff to see if our school is the right place for your child.
Children who live within the Boddington catchment area (the villages of Upper and Lower Boddington and surrounds) and who apply within the stated time frame are given priority, however children who live outside our catchment area are always considered and have previously successfully requested admission. Our published admissions number is 10 although we can sometimes take more depending on the numbers of children in other Year groups.
West Northamptonshire County Council deals with our admissions. Detailed information on admissions is available from the County Council through the link below:

Once places have been offered and accepted, parents and children are invited into school in the summer term for welcome meetings and a series of visits.
In order to reflect the Local Education Authority’s guidance and to ensure a calm and purposeful start to their school career, it is an option for parents to phase children into their reception year with half days. This is an arrangement that can be discussed on a need basis with the school. If you feel that your child does not need to have a phased start, we also offer full time schooling from the first day of term.

We are now in the process of consulting with the county and Diocese regarding our admissions policy for 2022.
Please click on the link below for our proposed admissions policy for 2022. As part of this process we are required to engage in dialogue with the wider community. If you therefore have any comments of objections, please contact boddingtonadmin@cb-cepa.org
