Nestling in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, there can be few better settings in which children can take their first steps into the changing and challenging world of education than Boddington Church of England Academy.  Parents and Carers can be confident that staff and governors, in partnership with them, will be making the experience a memorable one, nurturing their children and laying the foundations to help them become lifelong learners.

In January 2012, Boddington Church of England Primary School formed a Federation with Culworth CE Primary School, under the Executive Headship of Sue Lawrence.  Then in September 2013 the schools became part of a Multi Academy Trust with the schools of the Chenderit cluster.  Our Federation has one single Governing Body that works across both schools together with the Executive Headteacher and here at Boddington with Mrs. Katy Stephens and Mrs Ginny Bootman as Senior Managers.

Over the last ten years or so, all schools have undergone a revolution in the classroom as a result of the introduction of the national curriculum and its accompanying regulations and standards. There are new teaching methods, as well as the best of the familiar.  There is a whole range of tests and targets for pupils, teachers and governors to meet.  Public accountability has never been higher.  Our reports have been consistently good and we continue to develop the curriculum and facilities.

Whilst we are proud of our academic achievements, we place a high value on sport and the arts and aim to produce well-rounded children.

The school prides itself in the relationship between teachers, parents and governors, and between the school and the wider community. Whether you are a new or prospective parent, a volunteer helping out in the classroom or a visitor to the school, I am sure you will be made very welcome.  We need your support to help maintain our high standards and the quality of learning experience which our children deserve.
