Forest School

At Boddington we are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to provide Forest School sessions for all children, including pre-school, led by a qualified Forest School teacher. 

Children in Key Stage 1 and EYFS attend 12 forest school session throughout the year and Key Stage 2 attend 2. 

Boddington Village Hall kindly support our Forest School afternoons. 

Sarah, the Forest School teacher, ensures that links to current learning are made and enhanced whilst also enabling the children to follow their own interests. 

The children thoroughly enjoy the sessions and activities have ranged from creating bird feeders, making and using natural paints, treasure hunts, climbing the many trees and of course swinging from the tyre swing!
