School Trips and Residential Visits
School trips and residential visits are a significant aspect of school life at Boddington Primary Academy. These experiences can be organised on a whole school basis, by class, or by key stage, ensuring that all pupils have the opportunity to engage with enriching activities outside the classroom. Over the past year, our students have enjoyed a variety of excursions, including skiing and rock climbing, as well as visits to the majestic Peterborough Cathedral and the historic Sulgrave Manor.
Historically, our students have also explored the wonders of the Living Rainforest, the fascinating Leicester Space Centre, and the adventurous Go Ape facility. These trips not only enhance students' learning but also promote social interaction and personal growth.
In addition to day trips, Boddington Primary Academy participates in residential visits with other schools within our TRUST. Currently, we organise residential trips for Year 4 and Year 6 pupils, each lasting three days. These excursions include a diverse range of outdoor pursuits designed to foster teamwork, resilience, and a sense of adventure. Through these valuable experiences, students develop their skills and form lasting memories, reinforcing the sense of community which is at the heart of our educational philosophy.
